We're Brad & Stephanie, and we'll come to your kitchen table.

We started ABASCO (A Brad and Stephanie Company) in 2024 after working in the insurance industry since 2010. We created ABASCO to do insurance the way it should be done, in person, unhurried, and honest. We're a fully licensed husband-and-wife team, and we come to you. The office can be your kitchen table, a local coffee shop, or wherever you're most comfortable. We'll walk through your options, answer your questions, and help you find the plan that fits your needs. When we're not with clients, you'll likely find us on the pickleball court, out at the disc golf course, or spending time with our three dogs.

Most of our new clients come from a neighbor's referral. We've earned that by showing up, listening, and telling folks the truth, even when it means we don't make a sale.

How it works

From the first phone call to the moment you have a plan you understand, the whole thing usually takes about a week.

    Tell us a bit about your situation. Brad or Stephanie reads every submission and replies within one business day, usually faster.

  2. A quick chat

    About 10 minutes, by phone or text, your choice. We figure out where you are: turning 65, on Medicare already, between jobs, helping a parent. Just a relaxed, real conversation.

  3. In-home review

    We drive to you. Spread the plans on the table, compare them with your doctors, your prescriptions, and your budget in mind. You decide. We enroll you on the spot if you want.

  • How much do your services cost?

    Nothing. We're paid by the insurance carriers when you enroll, not by you. The compensation is also standardized, carriers pay the same regardless of which plan you pick, so our only interest is finding the plan that's right for you.

  • I'm turning 65, when should I reach out?

    About 3 months before your 65th birthday. That's when your Initial Enrollment Period opens. Reaching out early gives us time to compare plans without rushing, and to make sure your effective date lines up with the day your Medicare starts.

  • When can I switch my Medicare plan?

    The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs October 15 through December 7, that's when most plan changes happen. The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (OEP) runs January 1 through March 31. Major life events (moving, losing other coverage) can also open a Special Enrollment Period.

  • What's the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement?

    Advantage (Part C) bundles your A, B, and usually D into one private plan, often with extras like dental or gym memberships, but with networks. Supplement (Medigap) pairs with Original Medicare and helps pay your share of costs, with the freedom to see any doctor who takes Medicare. Which is better depends on your health, your doctors, and your prescriptions. We'll walk through both with you.

  • Do I really have to switch plans?

    No. Sometimes the plan you're on is the best one available. We'll tell you straight, and we make money the same whether you switch or not, so it's entirely your call.

  • Do you really come to my home?

    Yes, that's how we do most of our work. Brad or Stephanie drives to you, sits down at your kitchen table, and walks through your options on paper. If you'd rather meet over coffee, or by phone, that works too. The visit is free either way.

  • Will you sell my information?

    Never. We use your contact info only to talk with you about insurance, and we keep it private, always.
